Witch Cauldron Charcuterie Board
My recent creative project for Hershey’s combines two AMAZING things… Halloween and charcuterie!
I’ve made charcuterie boards before, but this is the first time I set out to make the board look like a specific thing. With all the buzz around Hocus Pocus 2 coming out this year, I knew that I wanted this one to be witch-themed.
Designing the *Cauldron* Board
For some reason, the idea of snack-filled “bubbles” coming out of a cauldron was where my brain instantly stuck.
It took a minute to figure out how to make it work—and in a way that would be easy to recreate—but I’m super happy with the result! I hope your friends and family will be, too. ;)
Pictured above: the (included) printable template that makes this board so much easier!
Most charcuterie includes a wide variety of snacks, and this Sweet & Savory Witch Charcuterie is no different. It’s easy to put together but has a decent-sized shopping list.
(If you want to make this type of board but reduce the number of items used by half, see the modified version at the bottom of this post.)
The full Witch Cauldron Charcuterie instructions can be found on Hersheylands.com. Scroll down for a closer look at some of the details!
Pictured below: Mini “Monsters” made from White Creme Reese’s and candy icing eyes. Just press the eyes into the cups… so easy!
Another fun & EASY treat idea: “Witch Fingers” made from green KitKats + Sliced Almonds! (A tiny dab of frosting keeps the “nail” in place.)
Make it simpler! (Modified Version)
To reduce the number of ingredients on this board, I recommend sticking with sweet snacks only and filling the ENTIRE AREA around the cauldron and “bubbles” with Hershey’s Cookies & Creme Popcorn.
The popcorn’s color provides a nice contrast to the cauldron shape, helping it stand out. (PLUS, it’s so yummy!)
Next, make sure there’s a contrast between the popcorn and the contents of the cauldron bubbles. Swap the green olives for a colorful Halloween candy and the white Reese’s for the regular chocolate version.

However you choose to make it, this charcuterie board makes a fantastic serving idea for any Halloween Party or Hocus Pocus Movie Night. Enjoy!
