Here’s a great way to incorporate sustainability & eco-friendliness into your parties: just invite WALL-E! Jenny of Crossing the Bugger-Dixon Line did exactly that… and included some {ridiculously cute and clever} desserts, decorations & activities inspired by key elements from the movie to bring this amazing WALL-E Birthday Party to life! This adorable party could easily be used for a creative Earth Day Celebration too.

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • “Plant Sample” sunflower sprouts as party favors
  • Incredibly realistic WALL-E & Eve sugar cookies & earth cookies
  • Robot Trash Pick Up Game with robot arm favors
  • “Eve” lollipops that are way too cute to eat! ;)
  • A dessert table backdrop that doubled as a photo booth for pictures with WALL-E!

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Jenny

***

Party Theme

A special WALL-E inspired 6th birthday. The goal was to create a WALL-E inspired party without overdoing the character aspect of it. We centered the party around the newly sprouted green plant WALL-E finds. It is the first proof of sustainable life on Earth and the main theme of the movie.

Colors

  • Aqua/Lime: modern, minimal, and outer space-ish

Dessert

  • The Axiom serves Sep-Tua-Centennial Cupcakes in a Cup, so of course we did as well.
  • We also had Rice Crispy Trash Cubes, Axiom Brownies, Dirt Pie Push Up Pops with fondant sprouts, and WALL-E inspired cookies.

Favors

  • Plant Samples (sunflowers) for the kids to take home and plant, Robot Arms, and Eve Lollipops

Activities

  • Robot Trash Pick Up Game and Pictures with WALL-E (the dessert table backdrop doubled as the photo booth).

Thanks for the great ideas. My son also wants a Wall-e 6th birthday party.

How did you make the cupcake in the cup? Thank you.
