The 5-Container Halloween Treat Buffet
Setting up a Halloween treat buffet can be SUPER EASY and still look fantastic!
Even if you’ve never created a “styled” treat or candy buffet before, rest assured that you CAN pull it off (stress-free!) with these 3 tips:
- Serve fuss-free, store-bought items.
- Use printable treat labels to give the items creative names (and to make your containers look great!)
- Embellish the containers with trims that match your decor.
Done!!
Below is exactly what you need to recreate the “Midnight Magic” treat buffet pictured here. Feel free to swap out the treats, trims, and labels with whatever best matches your theme!
5-Container Halloween Treat Buffet
***
Materials:
- Five Treat Containers*
- Decorative Trims
- Printable Treat Labels (I used Midnight Magic here.)
- Scissors
- Hot Glue Gun
*All of these plastic candy containers are from Party City.
The Treats:
- Crunch & Munch + Pirouette Cookies = MUMMY MUNCH
- Kettle Corn + Sprinkles = BEWITCHED KETTLE CORN
- Fudge-Dipped Mini Oreos = GRAVEYARD STONES
- Cinnamon Donut Holes = SHRUNKEN HEADS
- Gummy Skulls = GUMMY SKULLS (already sounded “Halloween”!)
How to Name Your Treats
When it comes to dreaming up clever names, I always get inspired by the shape of the treat (What Halloween-related thing does it resemble?) or by using alliteration and adding a Halloween-appropriate word with the same starting sound.
For example:
- Mummy Munch
- Cauldron Cookies
- Spellbound Sugar Sticks (rock candy sticks)
Here’s a screenshot of my online customizer in action with these labels. (Try it out for yourself here!) Before downloading, you can highlight all of the text and change it to whatever you want to say.
