PARTY DETAILS as told by Summer

My son, like so many 6 year old boys, is video game crazy. He is particularly smitten with
Mario Bros. games so we decided to play off of that theme for his sixth birthday party. The boys were given Mario-like costumes cut from felt and costume hats made from poster board. The activities included pin the moustache on Mario and a Luma bean bag toss. For food we served lasagna and pizza for Italian flair along side fruits and veggies. We also had 7Up for the guests in piranha plant stemware. On the dessert table we offered Power Star sugar cookies, mushroom cupcakes, Bob-Omb Oreo truffle pops, Fire Flower brownie bites, coin cookies, chocolate moustaches, Jello cups, popcorn, Mario and Luigi lollipops and vanilla bean cake.

The back drop posters were made in Photoshop Elements and were printed at Costco. For favors, the kids were given Power Star notepads, Bob-Omb super balls and Fire and Ice gum in moustache take-out boxes.

So much fun for these little boys!
