evil queen from snow white party invitation

Inspired by the new Snow White and the Huntsman movie, Squared Party Printables developed this elegant and dark {Evil Queen} Snow White Party Theme. I just loved what she had to said about the idea too: “We figured why should the princesses have all the fun? With all the Snow White parties going around, we just had to put together something worthy of the Evil Queen.”

PARTY HIGHLIGHTS to look out for:

  • “Mirror mirror on my cookie” & poisoned (candied) apple in my hand…
  • Chocolate studded cake erupting with shards of glass from the Queen’s broken mirror
  • Royal invitations that perfectly matched the black mirror backdrop!

PARTY DETAILS, as told by Zoila

The decor and edibles were based on the dark forest and feature lots of mirrors and bling. The cake is a chocolate cake studded with dark chocolate pomegranate seeds and topped with shards of glass from the Queen’s broken mirror. Other desserts include Poisoned (candied) Apples, Blackberry Tarts, Black Forest Mousse and Mirror Cookies. Drinks included a Wild Hibiscus cocktail using Prosecco and hibiscus flowers in syrup, and a Poisoned Apple martini (not shown). We also set up a wooden box in which to place Snow’s heart once she’s caught.

What a breathtakingly beautiful party. That cake is fabulous! I’m going to remember some of these ideas for Halloween.

Lots of great details but that cake, with this theme, is perfection.

Oh wow! This is amazing! We are using this theme for halloween in our office and I would love to recreate your food items for our department! Would you be willing to share your recipes?
