PARTY DETAILS, as told by Kristen

We loved transforming Sarah’s home into Wonderland for her very merry 30th Unbirthday. We drew inspiration from all versions of Alice in Wonderland—the recent Tim Burton movie, the Disney version as well as the original Lewis Carroll book. Sarah’s living room became the Caterpillar’s lair, the dining room was the site of the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, her kitchen was the Queen of Heart’s garden and even the bathroom was transformed into the rabbit hole. It was amazing! We designed banners and hung umbrellas from the ceiling, the caterer designed awesome displays for the food, the cake was perfectly topsy turvy and the funky flowers filled the house with whimsy. Guests decked themselves to the nines in Alice-inspired attire and drank signature drinks and artfully designed bites of delightful food. It was truly a wonderland for all to enjoy!

From the Birthday Girl: “My friends and I enjoy themed parties and my 30th was no exception. I wanted to do something fun and creative. It actually started as a much simpler “mad hats” party, but quickly snowballed into what it became. The starting point was the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party where they wish everyone a very merry un-birthday.”
